ANNUAL MUSICAL SUKKOT FESTIVAL

When the Temple in Jerusalem stood, tens of thousands of spectators would gather to watch the Simchat Beit HaShoeivah (Rejoicing at the Place of the Water-Drawing), one of Sukkot’s most joyous observances, as the most pious members of the community danced and sang songs of praise to God. The dancers would carry lit torches, and were accompanied by the harps, lyres, cymbals and trumpets of the Levites.

The Sages said, "He who has not seen the joy of Beit Hashoeva has never seen rejoicing in his days" (Succah 5).

Indeed, this is an opportunity to celebrate this joy, with live music

here in Scottsdale, AZ

with the unique Beth Tefillah Community.
