Hi Everyone!
Come join us for our next Meetup----Thursday September 13, 2018 from 7:00-9:00pm, Main Floor Social Hall at the Jewish Community Center of Scottsdale, 12701 N. Scottsdale Road.
We warmly welcome you, whether you are a member of a congregation or are unaffiliated. Our Meetups are great opportunities to find Jewish answers to some of the most important issues in your life, and to meet new friends in our vibrant Jewish community!
Rabbi Pinchas Allouche presents: "A New Year...A Better You!.....What does Judaism Teach Us About Finding and Keeping What We Want This Year?"
Rabbi Allouche is a well respected and deeply loved rabbi, a sought-after lecturer, and an author of many essays on the Jewish faith, mysticism and social-criticism. Throughout the year, he will speak on a multitude of compelling topics that are of significant interest to us as individuals, and as a Jewish community.
He is the head Rabbi at Congregation Beth Tefillah in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he resides with his wife and nine children. Besides his impressive academic pedigree, he is richly-cultural, having lived in France, where he was born, South Africa, Israel and Italy. He is fluent in English, Hebrew, French and Italian. He received his rabbinic ordination in Milan, Italy in 1999. In March, 2013, Rabbi Allouche was listed in “The Forward” as “One of America's 36 Most Inspiring Rabbis - Who Are Shaping 21st Century Judaism."
The cost for this event is $10.00 cash at the door. Jcc requires a photo ID at entrance.
