~~A Note From The CBT Security Team~~

Anti-Semitic attacks and hate speech have increased in the past year, with the culmination with the horrible attack in Pittsburgh. Since then, lots of our congregation have asked "how can i help”. Well, we are setting up several training and educational classes, as well as bringing in experts in the near future to help all of us feel safer and more prepared in our daily lives, and here in the synagogue. 

Right now, we are looking for volunteers to show up a little early and/or stay a little later on Saturday mornings to help with some very minor things around the synagogue that will directly help keep us secure and portray a confident message to our fellow members and the community. Greeters and closers.

We will be bringing in several experts in different areas starting in 2019. If you have any interest in KravMaga, two members of our congregation have generously offered to teach some classes to help all of us feel more confident and secure in our daily lives.

Jan 23 @ 6:30 meet and greet. Feb 6 @ 6:30 first class.
