Ambassador Prayer Class

A beginning class of morning prayers (shacharit) will be beginning on September 19th at 8:00 AM on the Pardes Campus.

The class will be taught by a religious student from the yeshiva of Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz (a program that combines rabbinical study and military service) who will be spending the year teaching in Scottsdale.

It will be for younger students (K-3). It will be in Hebrew only but it will be for the very beginning student.

This is a private program, not provided through school.  As such, there is a requested/suggested fee of $15 per child per week.  However, no family will be turned away due to inability to pay.

Nefesh

Congregation Beth Tefillah is organizing an after-school religious studies program at the JCC in Scottsdale.  It is open to families from all schools.  The program, called Nefesh, incorporates religious studies and exposure to religious and Israeli culture.  The teachers for this program come from the Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz ambassador program in Israel and have a background in advanced Jewish studies and Israeli army service.
